Miller’s Andy Brett also ranked number seven out of D&O brokers in the market, whilst Adam Taylor and Harry Braysher are each ranked as ‘rising stars’.

The Insurance Insider’s D&O Rankings are a snapshot of the best professionals, companies and rising stars operating in the market, as voted by market participants. Excitingly, Miller has been ranked as the number one broking house operating in the London D&O insurance market in 2020.

Miller’s D&O client offering is provided by both our North America team, led by Andy Brett, and our International team, led by Scott Taylor. They are part of a wider team of over 40 experts operating in the Professional, Executive & Financial risks space. This excellent achievement is a reflection of the whole team’s commitment to combining technical expertise and market influence to deliver results for clients. In this era of rising rates and pullback in coverage, Miller is proud to be able to offer clients industry-leading risk transfer solutions.

There was good news also for two newer entrants to the D&O market, Miller’s Adam Taylor and Harry Braysher. Both were identified as ‘rising stars’, holding equal-fourth place in the rankings. This is testament to both broker’s commitment and application to their craft, and we hope they’ve benefitted from the performance orientated, innovative and challenging working environment that Miller works hard to foster.

Finally, Andy Brett, who heads up Miller’s North American professional risks team, was also recognised for his work over the past year, being ranked number seven out of D&O brokers in the market. This marks the second year in succession he has appeared in the top-10. We asked Andy to provide his thoughts on the recognition that he and his team have received:

“Firstly, I’d like to extend my congratulations to all of my colleagues who are working with clients every day to help them access tailored, effective D&O risk transfer solutions. This past year has provided challenges I’m sure many in the market never thought possible, and I’m proud of the way the whole team here at Miller has worked to ensure that our offering for clients has not been disrupted.

I’d also like to thank my peers operating in the market who voted for Miller to receive this number one ranking. I think it’s testament to the trust the market places in our ability to achieve solutions for clients. The team is already excited for the year ahead and eager to build on this excellent news.

On a personal note, during my 25 years working in the London market, my focus has always been on doing the right thing. It is of course gratifying to see that this approach is appreciated by my peers, and I look forward to working with many of them in the coming year.”
