Miller’s submission focused on our Advance programme, designed to target high potential female and other underrepresented talent at emerging leader level, to support their development and career progression.

We want to ensure Miller is a place where underrepresented talent are afforded equal opportunity and supported to fulfil their career potential with us. In line with our strategic priority to be a truly inclusive employer we want every individual to thrive.

Advance was developed in collaboration with our colleagues to understand their experiences and challenges. Each year up to 10 places are available for individuals from underrepresented talent groups, through senior manager nominations. The programme has been championed by Greg Collins, James Hands and other senior leaders across the business, who have promoted the programme and provided personal mentoring.

Advance has had a measurable impact on the careers of participants and it is exciting to see both it and Miller being recognised within the industry.

The results of the Insurance Insider Honours will be announced on 8 September – good luck to all involved.
