Dave started his career in 1988 working in the risk and insurance function of a major UK contractor. He joined the London market in 2002 where he has dealt with all aspects of UK construction business, including some of the country’s largest contractors and most prestigious projects. Dave has extensive experience of both annual contractor programmes and project placements, and specialises in complex contractual arrangements having delivered innovative insurance solutions for alliancing projects.
In his spare time, Dave divides his time between his family, minis’ rugby coaching and beekeeping, a hobby he started during lockdown.
What does he like best about construction insurance?
“I have always been fascinated by construction, its techniques and the industry in general. Getting out, meeting people in the industry and seeing fascinating projects are my favourite parts of my role.”
