Emergency Medical Assistance
In the event of an injury, you should immediately report yourself to the track / event medical centre for a check.
If it is deemed medically necessary to transport you, by road or by air, to hospital – please immediately contact the 24h medical assistance provider by phone if urgent assistance is required, or email for anything non-urgent.
You should inform them of the following:
- Your full name and date of birth
- Date and location of the accident
- A brief description of the injuries suffered
- The medical facility/hospital you will be transported to (if known)
- Contact details and name of the treating physician at the hospital (if known)
- Contact details of the person accompanying you to the hospital
If you do not require medical transport, but do have injuries that require non-emergency follow up treatment, please contact the medical assistance provider before you proceed with any treatment. Failure to contact them prior to treatment may mean your claim is not paid.
