Football Insurance: Comprehensive Coverage for Players
As the women’s game continues to grow, the fundamental physical demands and risks of major injuries, whether recoverable from or career-ending, make it essential for female footballers to have comprehensive insurance coverage.
Miller’s Major Injury and Career Ending Policy is exclusively designed for professional female footballers, addressing the specific risks and needs of these individuals. This policy is exclusively available through Miller and offers tailored protection you won’t find anywhere else.
Why female Footballers Need Specialist Insurance
Women's football faces a considerable wage disparity compared to their male counterparts. Male footballers, especially those at the top level, accrue significant wealth throughout their careers, offering them a strong chance of being able to financially support themselves following a career-ending injury.
Conversely, most women earn less and often rely on their football careers as their primary source of income. A career-ending injury without adequate insurance could leave them in a vulnerable position. This threat underscores the critical need for this insurance, tailored specifically for the needs of female footballers, as an indispensable tool to secure their future.
What does Miller’s female football insurance cover?

Players will have 24-hour, worldwide cover, including when they are on international duty.

With this protection, they can focus on returning to peak performance without the added stress of covering expensive medical treatments.
