Phil Sims

Phil holds responsibility for leading the Marine Treaty team at AHJ Miller and has worked within the London and International reinsurance market for 45 years, of which 35 years have been dedicated to the service of AHJ clients.

Phil enjoys extensive experience handling a wide variety of International Marine & Aquaculture Treaty accounts emanating from Caribbean, European, and Nordic Countries. Additionally, Phil heads the AHJ Miller placement of the specialist “in-house” binding authorities for GAIC, GYC and GPR as well as arranging the capacity that sits behind other delegated underwriting solutions that are primarily focused on aquaculture and yacht portfolios.
