Michael Burgess

Michael is an account handler within Miller's Sports & Entertainment team, with a focus on providing tailored cricket insurance solutions.

He is a former professional cricketer, having spent over ten years playing for Warwickshire, Sussex, and Leicestershire County Cricket Clubs, with international appearances in Australia. He was part of Warwickshire’s 2021 ECB County Championship and Bob Willis Trophy-winning side.

After retiring from cricket, Michael gained corporate experience at Howe Robinson Partners as a Dry Cargo Shipbroker, specialising in negotiation and client relationship management. He now combines his sporting insight with commercial expertise to help grow Miller’s sports offering.
