George Blackwell

George leads the North American Treaty team with responsibility for all US reinsurance placements.

He joined AHJ (predecessor of AHJ Miller) in 2010, having started his career as a Lloyd’s broker seven years earlier specialising in US property and casualty reinsurance.

Since 2010 George has focused on expanding and driving forward the AHJ North American Treaty portfolio, whilst becoming extremely knowledgeable of AHJ’s existing Client base. He joined the Board of AHJ on June 1st 2024.
