James heads up Miller’s After the Event (ATE) insurance offering, providing clients with advice on bespoke insurance programmes and solutions.

James also supports clients with updates on market appetite and licensing restrictions, submission preparation and approach to insurers, as well as introductions to litigation funders. He can also support law firms with obtaining litigation finance facilities for portfolios of claims along with capital protection to protect their investment.

James has worked in the insurance industry for six years, previously with two other Lloyd’s brokers, including time spent as Director of Professions. James has a range of connections within the ATE space, and can offer clients the benefit of his in-depth understanding of various niche products.

Before entering the insurance sector, James worked at two private law firms. He holds a degree in Law and French from Swansea University and has also passed the Legal Practice Course.
