We are recruiting for an experienced claims executive to join our Professional & Financial Lines claims team.


The Opportunity 


This role is within a bubbly team and this will involve a lot of client meetings and working closely with the placing team. We need someone who wants to help drive the claims team and represent us in front of clients. The aim of this role will be to provide a prompt, accurate and efficient claims service for the benefit of Miller, its clients and the market.

There is huge scope for growth with this role and the career development is exponential in terms of the oversight for where the team is going and where it is pitched to go in a short space of time. Our seasoned team of experts specialises in handling claims across a wide range of professions; be it lawyers, doctors, architects, engineers, accountants, or other professionals. We understand the nuances of these fields and navigate complex claims efficiently and professionally.

We are looking for someone who has several years of experience in a similar position, to join in this crucial role. If you are a qualified solicitor who has transitioned into claims, this would be an excellent fit for you. Role Responsibilities


Ensure a swift response and settlement of claims, whilst constantly reviewing service standards
Negotiate claims with markets in order to maximise client retention
Provide advice to clients where required in respect of claims
Ensure timely processing of all claims documents and answer enquires relating to claims processing
Ensure the secure, efficient and auditable handling of client monies and proactively manage payments
Maintain and update in-house systems
Liaise with placing teams and other areas of Miller to ensure overall client requirements are met
Prepare statistical claims data for both internal and external use
Maintain strong client and market relationships as appropriate
Perform quality control checks on all documentation
