Miller, the leading independent specialist (re)insurance broker, today announces the appointment of Ellie Fyfe and Kelly Stevens as Account Executive and Account Handler respectively in the Renewable Energy & Environmental Technology (REET) team. Both will be based in London and report into Rhys Newland, Head of REET.

With over 17 years of experience in the insurance market, Ellie joins from Willis Towers Watson where she worked in the Infrastructure team, focussing on renewable energy for five years. Over the course of her career, Ellie has also held roles at Tokio Marine Kiln, WNS Assistance and QBE.

Kelly also joins from Willis Towers Watson’s Infrastructure team, where she focused on renewable energy, project financed projects and energy from waste. Prior to this, she worked as a regional broker for 20 years.

Both appointments come as Miller looks to build out its renewable energy offering, developing the new REET team to complement the work of the wider Energy and Power teams. Ellie and Kelly will focus on the placement, servicing and renewals of renewable energy for retail and wholesale clients.

Rhys Newland, Head of Renewable Energy & Environmental Technology, commented: "I’m pleased to welcome Ellie and Kelly to Miller as the backbone of our new Renewable Energy & Environmental Technology team. Their appointments highlight our commitment to building out a differentiated renewable energy and environmental technology proposition, and I am confident that their sector specialism, alongside their considerable industry experience and enthusiasm, will prove fundamental to the successful development of a renewable energy and environmental technology team that adds to our longstanding track-record in the energy and power sectors. I look forward to working alongside them as we continue to evolve as a business and develop our expertise to anticipate the needs of our clients and partners in the transition to a low carbon world."
