University campus redevelopment
Miller's Construction team assisted us in finding suitable cover for a timber frame school project for one of our clients. With over 40 years’ experience in the construction insurance market, Steve has worked on some of the most prestigious projects placed into the London market and handled some very significant claims over the years. He has extensive experience of both contractor and developer programmes, and advises clients and their advisers on complex contractual arrangements and delivery of insurance solutions.

Sally Hinchey

Head of Surety

Sally heads up Miller’s Surety team and is responsible for leading and developing innovative solutions for our Construction clients, as well as other lines of business. With 16 years’ industry experience, she loves nothing more than finding solutions for the ‘not so straight forward’ enquiries and pushing the boundaries of Surety to demonstrate to clients the value it can bring.

Rhys Newland

Head of Renewable Energy & Environmental Technology

Rhys began his career as an environmental consultant for six years, before joining a London broker in 1998. He specialises in renewable energy, environmental infrastructure and project financed projects, where he and his team assist clients to identify and manage new risks as they change their business to be more sustainable and robust for the future. Rhys graduated in Environmental Science and is a Chartered Environmentalist.

Jason Baston

Head of Construction Client Development

Jason has over a decade of experience in construction insurance, specialising in solutions for UK and Irish insureds. Prior to that, he has worked both in the UK and overseas on behalf of Lloyd’s syndicates, insurers and international brokers in property and casualty lines.
