Alex is a member of the Hull and Machinery team and is responsible for business production as well as negotiating and placing business in the London and international markets.
He has experience representing shipowners from around the world, placing vessels ranging from small, locally trading Caribbean tugboats to globally operating LNGs.
Alex has worked in marine insurance broking for over 16 years, starting at another leading global broker, then joining Alston Gayler (AG) in 2006 and Miller in 2019.
He began his career as a technician, dealing with many internationally recognisable blue chip accounts, both in the hull and machinery and liability markets.
Alex holds the CII Diploma in Insurance qualification and in his spare time enjoys football and swimming.
