Vat joined Miller in March 2019 and worked within Miller’s Direct Marine Hull and War team before moving to the Marine Liability Reinsurance team in September 2023.

His recent experience is principally in support of our Greek shipowner clients, having begun his career at Alston Gayler in 2017.

Vat has a Bachelors degree in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business, and a Masters in Maritime Policy and Shipping Management from Cardiff University. 

In his spare time, Vat likes sports, both in terms of watching as well as playing.
