Miller launches offering aimed at purchasers of global insurance programmes

Independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker Miller has launched a new offering aimed at purchasers of global insurance programmes.

The offering aims to address and resolve key areas of concern identified by purchasers of global insurance programmes during research undertaken by the broker. Regulatory and fiscal compliance, reducing costs, improving claims settlement experience, unease about geographical representation (broker vs. insurer), procedural inefficiencies and the duplication of services – all are significant aspects for clients and have been the focus of the research and subsequent product offering.

Ken MacDonald, Head of Corporate Risks said: “Our belief in independent advice and expertise extends to global programme solutions (GPS). The dedicated team we have established will provide clients with global servicing and bespoke analysis of their programme structure and processes. Our specialists are experienced in providing clients with original programme design, placement, implementation, audit, technical and claims advice. We will help clients navigate through what is a complex area of multi-national insurance.”

Miller has developed a unique process that provides clients with the most appropriate structure for their global programmes and matches them to market capabilities. In addition, it supplies them with the closest match to their strategic and operational insurance requirements.

“Any organisation with concerns around aspects of their global placements would benefit from our approach. Rather than a one size fits all approach, each project is tailored to the client’s needs and specific service requirements,” says Mark Hicks, Head of Client Management within Corporate Risks at Miller.

Global programme solutions will be jointly led by Sue Taylor, claims and technical services specialist and Jeremy Dutton, client servicing specialist.
