Bruce is a Treaty Reinsurance Executive, based in Miller’s Singapore office, specialising in property & casualty and life/health treaties, alternative risk transfer solutions (multi-class and multi-year), industry loss warranty and insurance-linked securities.
His geographic focus is Asia Pacific, Indian subcontinent, Middle East and Africa servicing APAC MGAs and insurers, with a specific focus on small to midrange clients currently being under serviced by the big three.
Bruce began his insurance career in 1981 and has worked as an underwriter (facultative, treaty and insurance), reinsurance buyer and a broker (both retail and reinsurance) since worked for a number of large-scale international insurance brokers in a range of territories. He is a Fellow of ANZIIF and holds a Diploma in Financial Services (Insurance Broking).
In his spare time, Bruce has run ultramarathons and has cycled over 8000km through southeast Asia raising over USD700,000.
