• Tournaments
• Concerts and concert tours
• Theatrical performances, as well as annual cover for theatres
• Exhibitions
• Conferences and conventions
• TV shows
• Televised transmissions of any of the above

The insured interests typically include:

• Organisers and promoters: loss of expenses and profit
• Sponsors: loss of value of sponsorship
• TV companies: loss of revenue; loss of TV rights fees; loss suffered in respect of any of the foregoing pursuant to contractual obligations

Coverage includes:

• Any cause beyond the control of the assured and the participants
• Extra expense in rescheduling or mitigating loss

Coverage excludes:

• Financial causes, lack of support or sales
• Deliberate act of the Assured
• War (except in certain circumstances)
• Radioactive contamination

Other exclusions, which appear in standard policy forms, are negotiable.
