Miller announces changes linked to strategy focusing on large UK corporate risks
Following a strategic review of its UK retail business, Miller Insurance Services Limited (Miller) will focus upon providing a range of specialist services to large and complex risk managed corporate entities based in the UK and Europe.
As a result, various activities will be implemented:
Global Risks accounts to transfer to London
Some major corporate accounts currently handled by Miller Insurance Services (UK) Limited (Miller UK) will be integrated into Miller Insurance Services Limited (Miller) with effect from early in the New Year. From this date this business will be handled from Miller’s offices in London.
Giles Insurance Brokers Limited to purchase remaining retail business of Miller Insurance Services (UK) Limited
Giles Insurance Brokers Limited, a leading UK insurance broker, has agreed to purchase (subject to contract) the remaining retail business of Miller Insurance Services (UK) Limited.
Jon Warwick has joined from Aon as Director - Corporate Risks UK and Europe
To support Miller's UK and Europe corporate risks business development drive, we are pleased to announce that Jon Warwick has joined as Director - Corporate Risks UK and Europe. Jon will work closely with Miller’s specialist product and service areas to target large and complex risk managed businesses based in the UK and Europe.
Jon will be responsible for the provision of centralised relationship management and ensuring a quality and consistent service is delivered to our corporate clients based in the UK and Europe.
Transfer of Motor Fleet business
As part of this strategic review, the Motor Fleet business and team will be transferred to another Lloyd's broker. This transfer is planned to take place early in the New Year.
