Summary

We are recruiting for two experienced Technicians to join the business support team in Programmes.

These positions will be responsible for management of coverholder clients and data analysis.

The roles will involve:

  • active management of coverholder clients maintaining frequent dialogue between broking and technical teams;
  • regular analysis and presentation of results and trends  – risk, premium, claim data analysis;  
  • reviewing insurers data requirements, communicating any issues to clients, and internally, and factoring these into Miller systems development;
  • new client take and new coverholder applications  - meeting with new clients, explaining Lloyd’s processes, liaising with insurers;  
  • compliance and audit co-ordination for existing clients coverholder clients - liaising with Lloyd’s, insurers, clients and auditors;     
  • being involved in representing Miller in dialogue with LIIBA and Lloyd’s;
  • management / oversight and calculation of facility profit commissions and liaising with compliance and audit;   
  • maintaining records on all line-slips and other facilities held by Miller and liaising with compliance on regulatory requirements.  
The candidate

The ideal candidate will:

  • have significant experience in an operations role (ideally in a broking firm) specifically with binding authority business.
  • work confidently with clients / prospective clients and insurers.
  • communicate well with broking staff;
  • be comfortable with technology solutions for this business and be able to relate to data quality issues from the business perspective ( what data is required, what needs to be done with it, how it should be  delivered); 
  • communicate well with specialists in Analytics and IT;
  • work well within an immediate team of up to 10 colleagues.
