Nick was appointed to the Board as a non-executive director in 2004 having previously held the position of Managing Director of Lehman Brothers in London where he was head of the European Financial Institutions group. In 2008 Nick was appointed non-executive Chairman of Miller. He is a non-executive director of Catlin Group Limited, Friends Life Group plc, Quayle Munro Holdings PLC and is Chairman of Longbow Capital LLP.
Graham became Chief Executive of Miller in 2000. He joined in 1982 and was appointed to the Board in 1990. Graham is Chairman of the London and International Insurance Brokers' Association (LIIBA) and Deputy President of the Insurance Institute of London. He is a Director of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB) Washington D.C. having previously served two terms from 2003-2009. Graham is a member of the Advisory Board for the Andrew Beazley Broker Academy at Lloyd's.
Martin is a qualified accountant and joined Miller in 1994 having previously worked in the London insurance market for the Lloyd’s regulatory division and in practice. He was appointed to the Board in 2009 and is responsible for Group Services' Finance, Legal, Compliance and Risk functions. He is a member of the Risk and Compliance Committees.
Greg is Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for Actuarial & Sales Support, Business Change, HR, IT and Marketing and Communications. He also has board responsibility for the Professional and Corporate Risks business units. He has worked in the insurance industry since 1977 and joined Miller in 2004. Greg was appointed to the Board in 2007.
Gary joined Miller in 1982 and was appointed to the Board in 1999. He is Head of Programmes and Facilities and a member of the Risk Committee. Gary is also a member of the Non-Marine Executive Committee of the London and International Insurance Brokers' Association (LIIBA).
James joined Miller in 1981 and was appointed to the Board in 1999. He is Head of Reinsurance. James is a member of the Reinsurance Executive Committee of the London and International Insurance Brokers' Association (LIIBA).
Julian joined Miller in 1981 and has been Head of Energy since 1999 (responsible for upstream & downstream energy, power & utility, onshore & offshore construction and liability risks). He also has board responsibility for Miller's Asian offices. Julian was appointed to the Board in 2004.
Xavier is Head of Marine and a member of the Audit Committee. He began his insurance career in 1980, joined Miller in 1996 and was appointed to the Board in 2004. Xavier is Chairman of the Marine Executive Committee of the London and International Insurance Brokers' Association (LIIBA).
Ian joined the Miller Board as an independent non-executive in 2012 and is Chairman of the Risk Committee as well as a member of the Audit and Remuneration committees. He is Executive Director at Rathbone Brothers Plc in addition to a range of other senior roles within the Group. Ian was previously Chief Executive of Tenon Group Plc (now RSM Tenon). He is a non-executive director of Family Assurance Friendly Society.
Clare joined Miller as an independent non-executive in 2012 and is Chair of the Audit Committee. Until December 2011 she was a Chartered Accountant and partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers having held several senior roles for the company. Clare is a non-executive director for the Disasters and Emergencies Committee and Direct Line Group.
Nigel began his insurance career in 1991 and has been permanently based in Asia since 1996. He heads the Miller office in Singapore and has many years' experience in the production and placement of major risks in the non marine field, focusing on property, energy and construction. Prior to joining Miller in 2009, Nigel led the Benfield facultative operations in the Asia Pacific region.
Faris heads the Miller office in Malaysia. He specialises in providing reinsurance solutions and technical support to Miller clients in South East Asia with a particular emphasis on marine and oil & gas. His objective is to help maintain and develop Miller's reinsurance treaty portfolio in Malaysia and Indonesia. He brings with him more than 16 years' experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Faris is fluent in Bahasan Indonesian.
John began his insurance career in 1981. He is responsible for strategic development of business from North American brokers. This includes co-ordination of all resources to deliver the highest possible service levels. He has a broad experience of insurance products including the development of trade disruption insurance and of working on Fortune 500 business. He is a member of the Lloyd's North American advisory council.
Jennifer joined Miller in 2009 as Head of Miller Hong Kong. She specialises in the production and placement of treaty and facultative reinsurance business for local insurance and reinsurance companies in North Asia. Prior to joining Miller, Jennifer held the role of assistant general manager of HSBC insurance brokers (Asia Pacific), where she was responsible for reinsurance business in Asia.
Ken has over 20 years' experience in leading and growing businesses in the major account segment in three geographies across (re)insurance, risk management consulting, captives and broking. Before joining Miller, he was Chief Executive Officer of Aon Global UK and previously led Aon’s captive and risk consulting business in Europe and Asia.
Julia joined Miller in 2002 as a D&O broker having switched from underwriting. Since 2003 she has facilitated the placement of (re)insurance into Bermuda for Miller. She is the broker representative for the Bermuda Market RIMS committee, secretary of The Bermuda Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers Association, Communications Officer of the Bermuda U40s (re)insurance committee and Co-Chairman of Women in Reinsurance (WiRe Ltd.).
Mike joined Miller from Aon Benfield in 2009. He is Head of Facultative Reinsurance which specialises in providing solutions for complex risks within industry segments such as steel, motor, chemical, pharmaceutical, power, leisure and many more, developing bespoke and strategic reinsurance products.
