Our CSR policy
We believe the principles of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and good corporate citizenship are key to our success. Our CSR stance focuses on four key areas: client and marketplace, workplace, environment and community.
Client and marketplace
We aim to be the adviser of choice in all our specialist areas. Regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) Miller employees are expected to undertake business with due skill, care and diligence. The board of directors of Miller manages the company and ensures proper adequate corporate governance is in place, with assistance from the legal, compliance and finance teams who operate within the corporate governance framework.
Workplace
Our employees underpin the value of our organisation. We are committed to treating all employees with fairness, respect and integrity and providing them with a healthy and safe working environment. Miller also offers its employees a comprehensive benefits package to attract, maintain and motivate high calibre staff.
Environment
All our business activities have an impact on the environment and we have a clear responsibility to manage this impact as effectively as possible. Miller is committed to measuring and evaluating the amount of natural resources used in the day to day operation of our business. We aim to only use suppliers who demonstrate they are responding to global environmental and social concerns, through their continued commitment to actively engage in CSR.
Community
It is key to the future success of Miller that we take our responsibilities to the wider community seriously as the health and prosperity of the local community can have a direct effect on our business. Each year Miller puts aside a share of company profits for distribution to nominated charities and we welcome employee driven initiatives to volunteer their energy, time and skills in the community.
